Churches
There are 18 churches in Ringsted Municipality.
St. Bendt's church is the only one built in the Middle Ages, and it is one of the first brick churches in Denmark. Sigersted Church, built in the 13th century, is Zealand's highest church. Klostermarkskirken is the youngest of the municipality

The church of Allindemagle
Allindemagle Church, like one of the few churches in Zealand, has no tower. The church's two west extensions are built of red stone, while the Romanesque nave is whitewashed.

Benløse Church
Benløse Church is one of the country's oldest brick churches.

Bringstrup Church
Only the long walls of the nave and part of the west gable have been preserved at Bringstrup Church, an original Romanesque building.

Farendløse Church
Farendløse Church is part of the Nordrupøster, Farendløse, Sneslev, and Ørslev parish.

Gyrstinge Church
Gyrstinge Church is idyllically located in the middle of the village. The parish priest's residence is in Bringstrup, and the former Gyrstinge vicarage now serves as the parish hall and home to local institutions and associations.

Haraldsted Church

Høm Church
Slightly set back from Suså Landevej, lies Høm Church, which is believed to be Ringsted's smallest and oldest church.

Jystrup Church
In Jystrup Church, you will find frescoes and furnishings preserved from the Middle Ages, as well as the altarpiece and pulpit preserved from the Renaissance.

Klostermarkskirken
The relatively young Klostermark Church appears modern, with doves as a central motif in the 10 square meter tapestry and altar silver. The baptismal font is made of glass.

Kværkeby Church

Nordrup Church
Nordrup Church is a village church in Ringsted Municipality. The church has a Romanesque nave with a Gothic chancel and tower.

Sct. Bendt's Church
St. Bendt's Church was Denmark's first royal church. In the Middle Ages, it served as the monastery church for the Benedictine monks of Ringsted Abbey.

The Church of Sigersted
The small village church in Ringsted Municipality, Sigersted Church, consists of a Romanesque chancel and nave. The porch, tower, and north chapel are from the late Gothic period.

Sneslev Kirke
Sneslev Church is a high and lonely located church on the outskirts of Sneslev village, 8 km from the center of Ringsted.

Valsølille Church
Valsølille Church is located in Jystrup and is part of Valsølille Parish.

Vetterslev church
It is estimated that the whitewashed Vetterslev Church dates back to around 1250. In terms of style, it is a 'transitional model,' as it is neither Romanesque nor truly Gothic.

Vigersted Kirke
Vigersted Church was a pilgrimage church due to Saint Vilhelm’s Spring, which was believed to have special powers and a miraculous effect. In midsummer—around Midsummer’s Eve (Sankthans)—pilgrims traveled to the spring and attended the associated market.

Ørslev church
Ørslev Church belongs to Ørslev Parish, which is part of the Ringsted-Sorø Deanery. In the 19th century, Ørslev Parish was an annex to Terslev Parish. Both parishes were part of Ringsted Hundred in Sorø County and each had its own parish municipality.
Following the municipal reform of 1970, Ørslev became part of Ringsted Municipality.
