Water sports in Ringsted
Ringsted may be far from the coast, but there are still plenty of opportunities for water activities. From the town’s large, inviting swimming pool to a variety of outdoor options, Ringsted Municipality offers water-based experiences for all ages.
With its location right in the middle of Zealand, and thus far from the coasts, water sports are not immediately the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Ringsted.
But nevertheless, there is plenty of opportunity to unfold in the wet element in Ringsted Municipality. In addition to the large, beautiful swimming pool, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor water activities.
Haraldsted Lake features a 1000-meter long swimming lane for long-distance swimming.
In Ringsted Svømmeland there are 3 pools. These are the swimming pool, the play and teaching pool and the paddling pool. There is also access to a brand new sauna area.
Enjoy Ringsted's beautiful nature from the water at Haraldsted Lake, where you can, for example, launch your own canoe or kayak.
In Ringsted there are several places where you can swim, including Haraldsted Lillesø, which is a Blue Flag beach.
